Attorney and Professor Eraldo Stefani has been lecturing in Law and Science of Defensive Investigations in the 2nd Level Master’s Program of the University of Rome La Sapienza for the 18th consecutive year.

Prof. Stefani’s lectures initially focused on the genesis of defensive investigations and the cardinal principles of the relevant legislation. With a theoretical-practical approach, the main aspects that the lawyer, with his expert consultants in forensic sciences, must follow in carrying out investigations were, then, deepened.

Through case-study analysis, the investigation techniques applied by Stefani Law Firm in past criminal proceedings, which led to proving the innocence of individuals accused of murder, neo-naticide, manslaughter following workplace fatalities, aggravated extortion and others, will be brought to the attention of the learners. The last part of the lectures will focus precisely on the Retrial and how to construct and carry out an investigation for the collection of evidence to support a solid Retrial request, allowing the sanctity of the Criminal Judgment to be broken down.
