Eraldo, Attorney and Professor, is the founder of the firm and a precursor of the method of defensive investigations in Italy.
He is registered with the Florence Bar Association, practices law before the Supreme Court, and in 2002 was nominated for the Presidency of the Union of Italian Criminal Chambers.
He is the author of numerous legal publications in the field of criminal law and procedure. In particular, he published the first Code of Criminal Defensive Investigation (1st edition in 2005 and 2nd edition in 2011) with Giuffrè Editore. Since 2001, he has been the Director of the “Accusatory Criminal Trial” series for the legal publisher Giuffrè Lefevre.
In the past, he was a contract professor of Institutions of Criminal Procedure at the University of L’Aquila and a full professor of Criminal Procedural Law at the University of Lugano.
Currently, since 2008, he has been teaching in the second-level Master’s program in Forensic Sciences Criminology-Investigation-Security-Intelligence, where he teaches Law and Sciences of Defensive Investigations.
A profound connoisseur of criminal law and active defense in criminal proceedings, he has participated in some of the most important Italian judicial cases, including: the Monster of Florence, the Ponticelli murder, the Costa Concordia case, and the Nazi massacre of Vallucciole.
In his more recent activities, he has applied investigative methodology to offer preventive investigation services to entrepreneurs and companies in order to reduce the risk of committing crimes and related liabilities.
He participates as a speaker at conferences in every area of criminal law. He is part of the network of lawyers for WWF Italy, is an honorary member of Federpol Italian Investigators, and a member of the WAD – World Association of Detectives.
Since 1997, he has been the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Senegal in Florence.
