Luca graduated in Law from the University of Florence in June 2022 with a JD Thesis in criminal law titled “Emotional and Passionate States in our Criminal System: between imputability, culpability and new spaces of relevance.”
Afterwards he carried out an internship ex art. 73 d.l. 69/2013 at the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office of Florence, during which he worked alongside several judges with the function of deputy public prosecutor, providing for the drafting of acts in the area of investigations in criminal proceedings and within the functions of protection of minors attributed to the prosecutor.
In this 18-month stint he mainly dealt with crimes against the person and property crimes, as well as measures in the areas of parental responsibility, adoptions and child custody.
He yearly held legal training classes to educators and managers of Communities for minors and unaccompanied foreign minors.
He attended the two-years Master’s Degree in “Restorative Justice and Criminal Mediation” at the Catholic University of Brescia (Italy).
During that period (2022-2024), he took an active part in Restorative Justice activity, including the experimental project “A Cure for Covid” – promoted by the University in collaboration with the Italian Society of Emergency-Urgency Medicine (SIMEU) – in which a meeting was held between health care workers who worked during the pandemic emergency period and relatives of people who, due to Covid, had lost their lives in the hospital.
Also, as part of the master’s program, he participated in the conference at the Catholic University of Brescia, with an oral presentation on the practical experience carried out in relation to “Speech groups and Restorative Justice.”
In February 2024, he began the ongoing legal practice at Stefani Law Firm, during which he is learning and deepening the methodology of defensive investigations.
He speaks English fluently and has a basic command of Spanish.
