Niccolò earned a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Florence (UniFi) and has been registered with the Florence Bar Association since 2017. During his university studies, he spent two semesters through the Erasmus program at Ghent University (Belgium) and in 2014 participated in the “International Commercial Arbitration” seminar held at UniFi.
Subsequently, he enriched his knowledge by spending a year at the Law Firm Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in Frankfurt, where he was able to delve into various issues of corporate, comparative, and international law.
Niccolò has specialized in conducting defensive investigations and collecting evidence in criminal proceedings and offers assistance in both judicial and extrajudicial matters, with particular regard to issues related to corporate crimes, environmental crimes, cybercrime and “Italian Red Code” crimes.
Thanks to his international training, the lawyer has been assisting national and international companies for years in the implementation of applicable rules and regulations (so-called Corporate Governance & Compliance). He is the Director of the preventive criminal defense department (ICP – Investigation & Crime Prevention) of the firm, which operates in the field of administrative liability of entities and legal persons pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 231/2001 and serves as a member of various Supervisory Bodies.
Niccolò has gained extensive experience in criminal law through participation in seminars and conferences both as a guest and as a speaker and/or lecturer. Moreover, he writes articles on topics related to his areas of expertise for specialized publications and has contributed to the drafting of the Monograph “The liability of entities and legal persons for crimes. Commentary on Legislative Decree no. 231/2001 with operational appendices” published by Key Editore in 2023.
He has been teaching an English-language university course at the Lorenzo de’ Medici Institute in Florence since 2019.
In 2023, he co-founded the professional network CLEAR Avvocati with Attorneys Elia Cremona and Giacomo Crini, to provide companies with multidisciplinary legal assistance.
He speaks English fluently, as well as having a good command of Spanish.
